Lois Plant, 94, of Conway, was born Lenora Delois Tedder in Ellisville, Calhoun Co, AR, February 24, 1916. She went home to be with Jesus on October 12, 2010, in Little Rock. Her church home was Conway First Church of the Nazarene. Prior to that she attended Amboy Baptist Church in Oak Grove. She was owner of Hillcrest Beauty Shoppe in Little Rock for many years. Her life was dedicated to teaching Sunday school from the age of 12 to 88. She was a mighty prayer warrior from an early age until her death. She began and ended each day in prayer and saw many answers and miracles in the lives of those she loved and prayed for. She was preceded in death by her husbands Marvin Worth Ruple of Little Rock and Jake Plant of North Little Rock, her brothers Griffith and Jim Tedder, and her parents, Lera Jane (Shook) and James Monroe Tedder. She is survived by her brother Dr. Lawrence Tedder and wife Gladys of Colorado and sister Marjorie Watson of Little Rock, her sons, Jack Ruple Sr. and Jimmy Ruple and his wife Lavonda all of Faulkner County, and grandchildren, David Ruple, Suzanne (Ruple) Martin, Steven Ruple, Jack Ruple Jr. and John Ruple, nieces and nephews, seven great-grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, Tiffany and Mackenzie, and many church friends and family. Visitation will be available from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2010 at First Church of the Nazarene chapel in Conway, Reverend Tim Kellerman presiding. Private burial to follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
