Mother Lodis "Lorine" Williams was born June 5, 1931 in Dumas, AR. She was the fifth child of twelve children born to Mary Madden-Campbell and Roy Campbell. She was called to her eternal peace on Friday, October 8th in the comfort of her home. She was preceded in death by her Parents; husband, Roy Lee Williams, four brothers: Cleophus, Sylvester, Leroy and Larry and one sister, Hazel. She accepted Christ at an early age at Dumas Church of God in Christ. Mother Williams later united with Second Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board. She was a faithful, active member until her health failed. She leaves to celebrate her legacy and memory: two sons, Luther Williams Sr. (Heloise), Levon Williams and one daughter, Larnzetta Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; five brothers: Ray Campbell of Fresno, California, Perry Campbell (Jean) of Dumas, Arkansas, Carnell Campbell of Conway, Arkansas, Young Campbell (Bobbie) and Charlie Campbell both of Little Rock, Arkansas and one sister, Theodoshia Campbell-Maxwell of Wrightsville, Arkansas. She also leaves five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as her Second Baptist family all of whom she richly cherished. Family Hour for Mother Williams will be held on Friday, October 15th at 6 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 1709 John Barrow Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72202. The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 16th at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St. in Little Rock.
