DORIS EDNA PULTE died Wednesday July 21, 2010 at her home in Little Rock after a long and happy life. She was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Whitesboro, Texas and grew up in North Texas graduating from High school in Gainesville, Texas in 1931. She married Raymond Frank Pulte on Oct. 4, 1941, and they were happily married for 57 years. In 1955, they moved their family from Gainesville, Texas, to Norman, Okla., where they raised their two children, James Raymond Pulte and Mary Ann Pulte Coleman. In March of 2000, shortly after the death of her husband, Raymond, she moved to Little Rock to be close to her daughter, Mary Ann where she has lived for the last 10 years of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Coleman of Little Rock, Ark., her son, James Raymond Pulte of Noble, Okla., a sister, Mary Katherine Davis of Norman, Okla., two nieces, Billie Jean Myrick of Lake City Florida and Dana Glasscock of McKinney, Texas; two nephews, Scott Davis of Bentonville, Ark., and Bradley Davis of Decatur, Texas; one grandson, Adam Barton Coleman and his wife, Jennifer Coleman of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Lisa Terry of Denver, Colo., and Stacey Barbre of Indiana; six great-grandchildren and numerous other loving great-nieces and nephews. The family is grateful for the assistance provided them over the last two years by Arkansas Hospice and their caring staff, for her many loving care givers and for the love and support of her wonderful neighbors. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends on Oct. 23, in Little Rock. The family suggests that any memorial donations be made to Arkansas Hospice.
