Phillip R Kerr

PHILLIP R. KERR, 78, of Little Rock passed away Oct. 13, 2010. He was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Williamsport, Pa. Phillip proudly served his country in the United States Air Force serving in many areas including tours in Vietnam. After 21 years of service, he retired from the Air Force as a Tech Sgt and went on to retire from the State of Arkansas where he worked in the maintenance department. Phillip also taught HVAC at Pulaski Tech for three years. He was a Methodist, a 32 degree Mason, a Volvo enthusiast, and he belonged to the Dixie Car Club. Survivors include his loving wife, Delores of Little Rock; sons, Marvin Chisum and wife, Lee of Lake Dallas, Texas, Tony Chisum and wife, Linda of El Paso, Ark., and Phillip Dan Kerr of Beebe, Ark.; daughter, Terri Farris and husband, Scott of North Little Rock, Ark.; sister, Betty Huyck and husband, Robert of Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
