Ruby Adams Holt

Ruby Adams Holt, 86, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1924 in Bradley County, daughter of John and Ola Hubanks Adams. Mrs. Holt was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1943. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, National Railway Historical Society, Arkansas Railroad Club, Arkansas Chapter of NRSH, Women and Energy Society and NARF. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, George "Ross" Holt Jr. and her parents. Survivors include her son, George Patrick "Pat" Holt and his partner, Ryan Weatherman of Dallas, Texas; and sister, Margie Holden and her husband, Ralph, of Knoxville, Tenn.; niece, Ann Holden of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephew, Don Holden and his wife, Susie, of Knoxville, Tenn.; and cousin, Bernice Simpson of Plano, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Lance Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
