Wilbur Wayne Wilson

Wilburn Wayne Wilson, 81 of Cabot, died Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was born December 4, 1928 in Belle Mina, Alabama to the late Harvey LeRoy and Minnie Olive Syron Wilson. TSgt. Wilson served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1968. He was an auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Imogene Nokes Wilson; children, Steven Wayne Wilson (Machele) of Conway, Donald Gene Wilson of Cabot, and Susan Dian Messersmith (David) of Jacksonville, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 a Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Larry David Nokes officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
