Wilhelmina Catherine (Nahlen) "Doodle" Nabholz, 86, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 17, 2010. She was born December 13, 1923, to the late Fred and Mary (Kaiser) Nahlen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred B. Nabholz; a sister, Rosemarie Miller of Bremerton, Washington, two brothers, Paul "Pulley" Nahlen, Martin "Spatz" Nahlen and son-in-law, Tim Schultz. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a home-maker, and co-owner of A and B Dirt Movers. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1941. She was employed as book keeper by Hiegel Lumber. In 1945, after the war she married Staff Sergeant, Alfred B. Nabholz. Together they owned and operated A and B Dirt Movers while raising their family. She is survived by one brother, Raymond Nahlen of Conway; a daughter, Marilyn Schultz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sons, Allan Nabholz (Lisa), Jim Nabholz (Jeanene) and Jerry Nabholz (Cathy) all of Conway; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A rosary will be 5:30 pm, Wednesday, October 20, 2010, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Thursday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Melnick officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park, with Jesse Nabholz, Zach Nabholz, Tony Nabholz, Micah Nabholz, Ancel Nabholz and Skylar Tipton serving as pallbearers, under the directrion of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. 501-327-7727.
