Jacqueline Lee Wood

Jacqueline Lee Wood, 88, a resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas for 44 years passed from this life at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro on October 19, 2010. "Jackie" married her beloved husband of 51 years, then Captain Starling W. Wood Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1942. Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Col. Starling Witt Wood, Ret. of Jonesboro, Arkansas but is survived by her two sons, Stephen K. Wood and daughter-in-law, Cindy Wood of Marion, Arkansas and Dr. Douglas R. Wood and daughter-in-law, Dr. Neta Wood of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro or to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House at St. Bernard's.
