James H. Hill

On October 21, 2010 the heart of the strongest, hardest working father stopped beating. James H. Hill, 75, formerly of Marvell, Arkansas passed away surrounded by family and friends. Born November 1, 1934 in Limestone County, Alabama, he later moved to Connells Point, Arkansas near Marvell in 1939. He was employed by Marvell Implement Company for 57 years. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Catherine Hill, his parents O.D. and Mary Vincent Hill, a brother George R. Hill, and a sister Dorothy L. Howe. Survivors include; a son, Douglas Byrd Hill and wife Kristen of Monticello; one daughter, Penny Dauksch and husband Lanny of West Memphis, Ark.; two brothers, Clayton W. Hill and wife Wanda of Kokomo, Indiana and Billy W. Hill and wife Inez of Mayflower, Ark.; a brother-in-law Auda Howe of Kokomo, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Betty Jean Hill of Elaine, Ark., and four grandchildren, Megan, Cody, Drake and Kameron.
