Oswald Smith Richardson

Oswald Smith Richardson, 91, of Sherwood, Ark., a devoted Christian joined God's band of angels on October 19, 2010. She retired from the North Little Rock School District where she touched the lives of many. Survivors include: Yvonne (Tony) Watson, Jacquelyn "Jackye" (Garland) Parker-Hampton and Roswald (June) Richardson; a daughter-in-law, Christine Richardson; three siblings, Wendell (Dorothy) Smith, Pha Labuzan, and Marcell Henderson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her loving memory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Earnest Richardson; one son, Larry Burtelle Richardson; three brothers and one sister. Home going services will be Monday, October 25, 2010, 11 a.m., at Union A.M.E. Church, 1825 Pulaski St., LR. The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m., on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
