Lois Welch Evans

Lois Welch Evans, 94, of Russellville died Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She was born September 8, 1916, to Walter W. Welch and Lillian Middleton Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy,Clarence, and Walter, her son, Wilfred J. Hoffmann IV ( Bill) and husband Charles Evans. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn McWilliams (James) and Linda Evans of Russellville, daughter-in-law, Gloria Savage-Hoffmann of Fort Smith, niece, Janet Edmonds of California, nephew, Bill Welch (Debbie) of Florida, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Lois was a member of 1st Assembly of God in Russellville. She retired from the Fort Smith Public School System. Memorial service is 10 a.m., Monday, October 25 at Humphrey Funeral Chapel in Russellville, homegoing service 3 p.m. graveside at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
