Frances Guthrie

Frances Guthrie died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at Crest Park Retirement Homes in Forrest City, Ark. Frances lived in Little Rock for most of her life, before relocating to Forrest City eight years ago to be near family. She was a member of Pulaski Heights Methodist Church. Frances was born on Jan. 28, 1919 in Cedar Grove, Tenn. to James L. Butler and Hassie Spain Butler. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother, James R. Butler. She leaves her two sons and their wives, Donnie and Elgie Guthrie of Forrest City, Ark. and Jerry and Dawn Guthrie of Gloveceston VQ, France; seven grandchildren, Terry Don Guthrie, Tonya May, Donald Guthrie, Rich Guthrie, David Guthrie, Nicole Trail and Rich Trail; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery, 7401 Hwy 5 North Alexander, Ark., Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. with Dr. Larry Mitchell Graham from Memorial Presbyterian Church, Forrest City, Ark. officiating.
