Carter C. Harrington, Jr

Carter C. Harrington Jr., age 55 of Ward, Arkansas passed away October 24, 2010 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Galveston, Texas September 12, 1955 to the late Ruth and Carter Harrington Sr. Carter is survived by his wife Mary "Mimi" Harrington, six children: Sara Jackson (Jeremy), Miranda Nicholson (Cory), Lauren Harrington, Justin Harrington, Katie Jones, and Leslie Jones. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Rylie, Payton, Logan, and Camren, his two sisters: Joanne Martin (Jim) and Cheryl White (George), and an abundance of nieces and nephews. Throughout his life he enjoyed going trout fishing, watching football and NASCAR on Sundays, and following the Razorbacks. He loved cooking for his family whether it was his gumbo or something from the grill. Carter was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church at 7417 Jacksonville-Conway Road at Jacksonville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.
