Della Haney Cook

Della (Haney) Cook, 89, of Rose Bud, went to be with her eternal Savior, friends and family Saturday, October 23, 2010. She was born Thursday, December 9, 1920, at Rosebud, to the late Dewey and Susie (Bennett) Haney. She was a longtime member of the Rosebud First Baptist Church and an active member of the Rose Bud EHC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Cecil Cook, two brothers, Zeno and Edgar Haney, and one sister, Maxine Maddox. Mrs. Cook is survived by four children, Peggy Porter, Becky Rygiel and husband, Tad, Regenia Skinner, all of Rose Bud, and Sherman Cook of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Wyevette Jackson of Rose Bud; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Barrett and Montene Haney; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Cook will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Rosebud First Baptist Church, with Rev. Mitch Vickers officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, at Rosebud.
