Mildred A. Goforth

MILDRED A. GOFORTH of Alexander, died at her home, Oct. 29, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born Dec. 9, 1921 in Little Rock, to the late Neal Adolph and Ruby (Pate) Murphy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Highway Church of Christ in Benton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Herschel Goforth and two sons, Larry and James Goforth. Survivors include one son, David Goforth and wife, Sonya of Alexander; four grandchildren, Lisa Callahan, Robin Barnes, Tim Goforth, and Brittany Goforth, and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock with Jerry Almond officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Callahan, Clint Barnes, Royce Goforth, Jerrell Mullen, Eddie Milam, and Wayne Carter. There is no scheduled visitation.
