Winnie Goodrum Greutter, 94, of Hot Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in a local hospital. Born August 16, 1916 in Stanley, Arkansas, a small lumber community, she was a long time resident of Hot Springs, where she was a charter member of the Junior Auxiliary, past president of Garland County Medical Society, an active member of First Methodist Church of Hot Springs and was active in many civic organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randy and Winnie Waites; brother, Randy and Lavelle Waites and sister Helen Waites; her first husband, Dr. William A. Goodrum and her second husband, Dr. John E. Greutter. She is survived by two sons and their wives, William (Bud) and Susan Goodrum of Hot Springs and Randy and Gail Goodrum of Franklin, Tennessee; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Quapaw Healthcare and Rehab. Center, especially Sherry McCoy.
