Billie Putman Wiles

Mrs. Billie Putman Wiles, age 95, a resident of De Queen, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at her home. She was born August 25, 1915 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen where she was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Wiles was preceded in death by her parents, Archie T. and Eulah Lee Cowling Putman; her husband, Coy Wiles in 1988; and one son, Barry Wiles in 1999. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Katie Sue and Dennis Smiley of De Queen; and two grandchildren, Dennis Smiley Jr. of Springdale, Ark. and Dee Smiley Dosher of Crawford, Texas and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Wiles will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Hebert officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery.
