Jimmie Ray Turner

Jimmie Ray Turner, 64, died Friday, April 29, 2011. He was a retired construction foreman, a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Turner was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and always worked very hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed gardening, his grandchildren and his friends. Survivors: Wife, Ruby Turner; sons, Jimmie L. Turner (Regina) of Ward and Royce Turner (Kris) of Pangburn; daughter, Michelle Turner of Bradford; grandchildren, Paige Turner, Brandon Turner, Ashley Spires, Keaton Turner, Kaleb Turner, Mara Turner and Owen Turner; brothers, Charles, Frank, Boyce and Eugene Turner all of Bradford; sister, Pauline George of Cash. Services: Monday, May 2, 2011, 3 p.m., Powell Funeral Chapel, Bald Knob. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
