Elva (Anita) Bingham, 88, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011 of congestive heart failure in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born in Magnet Cove, Ark and spent the majority of her life in Merritt Island, Fla. Anita always felt the most precious gift was to spend time with her family, and she made this a priority throughout her life. Over the years, she also took great pleasure in singing, fishing and being a Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Moore and Elva McEnvale Moore McCrary; her son, Olen Ray Bingham; her husband, Harold Olen Bingham; her sister, Mildred (Geneva) Owens and brothers, Jack, Archie and George Moore. Anita's survivors include: granddaughters, Angelia Bingham-Love, Cedar Park, Texas and Gayla Parker, Baltimore, Md. and her husband Freddy Parker; great-granddaughters, Emma and Grace Love and their father Mark Love, Cedar Park, Texas; great-grandsons, Allen Parker and his wife Ally, Nathan Parker and his wife Christina, Little Rock, Ark., and Jesse Parker, Wake Forest, N.C.; and daughter-in-law, Gail Bingham, Hutto, Texas. A celebration of Anita's life will be held on Wednesday, May 4 at 2 p.m. at Ironton Baptist Church at 14718 Ironton Cut Off Rd., Little Rock, Ark. A special thanks to the compassionate staff at New Hope Manor Nursing Home in Cedar Park, Texas and Texas Home Health Hospice. Flowers or memorial donations are welcome in Anita's name to the American Heart Association of Texas and Texas Home Health Hospice.
