Faye McGuire

Mrs. Faye D. (Deal) McGuire, 79, of Little Rock, died Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born December 25, 1931, at Wiseman, Arkansas, the daughter of Edward and Rachel (Carey) Deal. Mrs. McGuire was a house parent for the Arkansas School for the Blind, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, bird watching, and loved music. Mrs. McGuire was known by those around her as an encourager. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Ray McGuire; two brothers, Carl Deal and Henry Deal; three sisters, Opal Morris, Norma Everett, and Mae Pascoe; two half-sisters, Ruby Merrell and Florene Merrell. Mrs. McGuire is survived by two sons, Jimmy McGuire of Little Rock and Michael Ray McGuire of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne McGuire of Pine Bluff; one sister, Elva Deal of Little Rock.
