Mike Tom Taylor

Mike "Tom" Taylor, 58, of Quitman, passed away April 30, 2011. He was born June 11, 1952, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Carrol Taylor and the late Mildred Taylor. He was retired from Parker Cadillac, he loved his family, hunting and fishing. Mike was known for his kind heart and compassion and his willingness to help anybody and never seems to have met a stranger, he made friends wherever he went. Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wanda "Melody" Taylor; one son, Michael Ray Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Center Ridge, Arkansas; one daughter, Jennifer Reams and her husband, Johnny, of Vilonia, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Cheyanne, Courtney, Gabrielle, Morgan, Chance, and Jasmyn; his father, Carrol Taylor of Opal, Arkansas; two brothers, Windell Taylor of Enola, Arkansas and Gerald Taylor of Vilonia, Arkansas; and a whole host of other family members and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Taylor and one son, James Darren Taylor. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Mike's funeral service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011, in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Internment will follow in Grizzard Cemetery at El Paso.
