Faye Annette Arrington

Faye Annette Arrington of Little Rock departed this life May 1, 2011. She dedicated her life to her family, Leach Chapel CME Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Hylar Smith. She's survived by two sons, Shelby Arrington and Kenjuan Washington (April); five grandsons; five brothers and sisters; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. She was a lifelong member of Leach Chapel CME Church. She graduated from Scipio A. Jones High School (Class of 1961) and Philander Smith College and also retired from the Department of Human Services in Little Rock. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2011, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St. Little Rock, Ark. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 7, 2011, 11 a.m., at Leach Chapel CME Church, 307 N. Palm, NLR, Ark. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Ark.
