Mary Alice Davidson Pennington

Mary Alice Davidson Pennington, 73, of Swifton, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2011. She was born on Sept. 14, 1937 in Little Rock, Ark., a daughter of the late Jesse and Florence White Davidson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Pennington; two sisters, Ruby Dean Nobblet and Louise Lira; and two brothers, Charles Davidson and Leon Davidson. She is survived by one son, Charles R. Pennington Jr. of Pine Bluff, Ark.; four daughters, Debbie McDonald of Swifton, Ark., Stella Lomax of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Kathlean Blair of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Terisa Roberts of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda and Ellen; one brother, Carroll; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, May 9, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
