Brenda Lou Speck

BRENDA LOU SMITH SPECK, 68, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. She was born in Holland, Ark. to the late William B. and Mary Helen Firestone Smith. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Speck; brothers, Harold M. Smith and Russell Smith; sisters, Kathryn Pruitt and Joyce Shiffrin. Brenda retired from the Pulaski County School District and Baptist Medical Center. She was of the Baptist Faith. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by one brother, James H. Smith; and nieces, Jodi Chassells, Jayme Gentry; nephew, Jeff Smith; great-nieces Taylor Gabrielle Gentry and great-nephew, Gunnar Chassells; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Holland AR.
