Mr. Billy Allison Sr., 64, of Crossett, died Thursday. Mr. Allison was a native of Dermott and a resident of Crossett for the past 40 years. He worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 39 ½ years. He was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church and a member of the White Oak Hunting Club. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved his family and his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Erston & Virginia Smith Allison and a brother, Jimmy Allison. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa Poplin Allison of Crossett; a son, Bill Allison, Jr. of Crossett; a daughter, Michelle Allen and husband, Bryan, of Conway; a brother, Charles Johnson of Conway; four sisters, Margaret Brannon and husband, Andy, of Dermott, Margaret Mitchell and husband, Bill, of White Hall, Paula Wilson and husband, David, of Monticello and Wanda Williams and husband, Mike, of Winchester; two grandsons, Bryson & Brayden Allen of Conway. Graveside funeral services and burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday in the Crossroad Cemetery with Rev. Jody Gannaway and John Pennington officiating. Pallbearers are Bill Allison, Brad Burchfield, Bill Mitchell, Bryan Allen, Cliff Gee and Darren Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Archie Burchfield, David Wilson, Andy Brannon, Mike Williams, Wesley Cross, Terry Hammond II, Donald Joe Crowell and Bodi Ozment.
