Marjorie M. Dickson

Marjorie M. Dickson, 96, long-time resident of Harris Brake Lake and of the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, passed away Thursday, May 12, in Bentonville, Ark. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dickson, who passed in 1988. Mrs. Dickson is survived by one son, Jeff LaCaze and his wife Nancy of Bella Vista, Ark.; 3 grandchildren, Nicole LaCaze and Denise LaCaze of Baton Rouge, La, and Pastor Dallas LaCaze of Cassville, Mo. She also leaves her daughter in all but name, Becky Camp, who was her dearly beloved friend. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dickson was a member of the Eastern Star for almost 70 years and served as worthy matron several times at chapters in Little Rock and Perry. She was a Christian and belonged to the Perryville Methodist Church. She was an artist who produced many fine water color paintings that hang in many homes around the country. She possessed a remarkable strength of character and sense of humor and will be sorely missed by her friends and family. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 21, in the Harris Funeral Home facility in Perryville.
