Rachel Jeanette Parker

Rachel Jeanette Parker, 32, of Bryant passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, to join her Mom, who was her best friend, and family in heaven. Rachel enjoyed her friends, family, her Yorkies, reading, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Razorbacks. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carlisle. Rachel was born Aug. 19, 1978 in Little Rock, to Carolyn and Gary Parker. She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1997. She attended the University of Mississippi and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her father, Gary Parker of Carlisle; her two brothers, Brandon (Beverly) Parker, and Ashley (Amy) Parker all of Carlisle; four nephews, Gage, Preston, Bentley and Christian; one niece, Bliss; and her grandmother, Pauline Parker of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Parker; her grandparents, Otis Parker, and Auzzie and Effie Harness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, May 16th at Hamilton Methodist Church, south of Carlisle, with interment in Hamilton Cemetery.
