Bennie Frank Stacy Jr., 74 of Conway, died Sunday, May 15, 2011. Bennie was born October 30, 1936 in Melbourne, Ark. to the late Bennie Frank Stacy, Sr. and Dollie (Nunn) Stacy Little. He is also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mr. Stacy was a water well driller for many years, owning Stacy & Sons Well Drilling. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Conway. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and playing dominos with his buddies at Bennie's Domino Hall. He enjoyed going on cruises, especially when family members were along. Bennie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean (Furr) Stacy of Conway; children Eugene Stacy and wife Ladonna of Conway, Rickey Stacy and wife Cheryle of Conway, Rita McNamara and husband Patrick of Minnesota, and Kathy Bryant Brooks and husband Jeffery of Conway; brother Dub Stacy of Bee Branch; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Stacy, Larry Coney, Jerry Coney, Keith West, Jim Darnell, Johnny Clifton, Jack Mace and Harrell Southerland. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Broach, Eulon Naylor, Lawrence Parker, Richard Johnston, and Loyce Kirby.
