Freddie Lee Reeves, 68, of Little Rock, departed this life May 15, 2011, at the Veterans Hospital Fort Root. He was a product of the Little Rock Schools, and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Little Rock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boston and Lee Ella Reaves and one brother, Odell Anthony Reaves. Cherishing his memory are: daughters, Shannon Kinney (James) of Springfield, Mo., Sheila Cumick and Stephanie Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., Sharon Harris (Kenneth) of Little Rock; sons, Freddie Reeves Jr. and Derrick Reeves of Little Rock; sisters, Louise Hilliard (William) and Betty Benefield (David) of Altadena, Calif., Muriel Wilborn (York) and Bobbie Norman (Earnest) of Little Rock; one brother, John Reeves (Norma) of Little Rock; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Veterans Hospital Health Care Center, Bldg. 170, Unit 1B. Visitation will be Thursday 1-6 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Friday, 10 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Pastor E.L. Norman Sr., officiating.
