Gladys Voncille Kissire

Gladys Voncille Kissire, age 89, formerly of Morrilton, passed away in McLean, Virginia, May 6, 2011. She was born in Plumerville, January 26, 1922, a daughter of David M. James and Letha Qualls James. She was a retired cafeteria manager at Little Rock Central High School. She is survived by her son Jim and daughter-in-law Debbie Kissire of McLean, Virginia; grandson, Rick Kissire of McLean, Virginia; granddaughter, Kelly Kissire Thompson; great-grandson, Gage Thompson of Conway, Arkansas; sister, and Hal Dersch of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Logan "Skeet" Kissire and son, Rick Kissire. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Plummerville United Methodist Church with Rev. Von Dell Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Plummerville Methodist Church.
