Lynn Evans Pinkett

Lynn Evans Pinkett, 83, of Newport, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Conway. He was born February 29, 1928 in Bald Knob a son of the late William and Clara Evans Pinkett. Lynn was a member of the First Christian Church in Newport. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Porter) Pinkett; son-in-law, George Hatfield; brothers, Charles Pinkett of Mayflower and Don Pinkett of England (UK). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lynn and eight siblings. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pam Decker officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Shady Grove Cemetery Association.
