Bonnie Zean-Cook Dancer

Bonnie Zean Cook Dancer, 89 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away May 22, 2011 in White Hall, Arkansas. She was born January 24, 1922 in Kelso, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late, Sam and Clara Morris Cook. Her late husband, J.C. Dancer, two sons, Jimmy Charles Dancer and Paul Reese Dancer and daughter, Bonnie Lou Dancer preceded her in death. Mrs. Dancer a homemaker, charter member of First Assembly of God Church in Dumas, choir member, Sunday school teacher, WMC, 50-year choir plaque recipient, she directed and wrote many Christmas plays for the church, she taught Sunday school at the nursing home for 11-years. Survivors are sons, Jason Dancer of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Sam dancer of Dumas, Arkansas, three daughters, Ginger Ashcraft of Dumas, Arkansas, Jean Green of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Judy Webb of Dumas, Arkansas, 17-grandchildren, 29-great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation held at 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2011, Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Services held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011, First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Scott Gilbreth officiating with burial following in Dark Corner Cemetery.
