Delia E. Wilson

Delia Eunice Horner Wilson, 71, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away at her home on Saturday, May 21st, 2011. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas on May 13th, 1940. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School in 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron V. Horner of Helena, Arkansas and Reola F. Williams Horner Wilson and Stepfather, Joseph B. Wilson of Rose City, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Sammie L. Wilson. A resident of Sherwood for 26 years before residing in Vilonia for the past 13 years.; three daughters and their spouses , Debra and Michael Wilmarth of Sherwood, Arkansas, Sharon and Steve Powell of Sherwood, Arkansas and Deann and Michael Campbell of Scott, Arkansas; one stepdaughter and spouse, Wanda and Dennis Jamerson of Paradise, California; two grandsons, Jonathon and Scott Staggs; three step-grandchildren, Josh Thomas, Brittney Poetzman and Dilan Jamerson; one great-granddaughter, Chloe M. Staggs; one brother and spouse, John W. and Kathy Horner of Rose City, Arkansas; two nieces, Shalenia Moseley and Jonna Redmond; Curry and Allen Frierson; the Cates family plus numerous other cousins. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday May 25th, 2011 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515, with Bro.
