Maxine Knox

Maxine Knox, 91, of Higden, died May 23, 2011. She was born April 8, 1920 in Antoine, Pike County, Arkansas, to the late Charles and Edna Middleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Knox, brother, Faris Middleton and an infant son. She is survived by two sons, Charles Knox and his wife, Johnnie, Rick Knox and his wife, Mary Ann, and a daughter Debbie Sanders, and her husband, Jim, three granddaughters, Kristi McGee, Toni Patrom and Terri Perez, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a 1937 graduate of Little Rock High School, a 50 year member of Cabot Order of the Eastern Star and a retiree of Lonoke Remington Arms. She belonged to Cabot First Baptist Church for over 50 years. At her death, she was a member of Sugar Loaf First Baptist Church in Higden, with Danny Brown as her pastor. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816.
