Walter R. Crouch

Walter R. Crouch, 87, of Fayetteville passed away May 19, 2011 in Fayetteville. Walter was born December 5, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the son of Ray and Lou Roberts Crouch. On July 3rd 1952 Walter was united in marriage with Helen Bohe. Walter served his country during World war II with the 10th Batallion which was the ski patrol. Walter received the Purple heart award. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen and a niece, Vickie Osburn McClellan. Walter was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a charter member of Brookehaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Crouch also loved to cook. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Little Rock. Walter will always be remembered as a devoted and loving husband. Survivors include nieces, Robert and Patricia Osburn Hudgens, Fayetteville, Ark., Robert and Myralyn Osburn Arnold of Shalimer, Fla., Ron and Carole Osburn MacGinnis of Nova Scotia, Sandra Smith Mull of Tucson, Ariz., Vicki Bohe, of Georgia; two nephews, Mark Bohe of Washington and Rex Smith of Louisiana, a brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Francis Bohe of Minneapolis, Minn. along with several great-great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday May 27th 2011 at Fairview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers you may send donations to the Veterans Home in Fayetteville, The First Christian Church in Little Rock or The Childrens Hospital in Little Rock.
