Karen Jo Wade Garrison

Karen Jo Wade Garrison of Oklahoma City Okla., after a lengthy battle with Muscular Dystrophy went home to her Lord on March 23, 2012. Karen was born in Little Rock, Ark. on Dec. 9, 1946; she graduated from Little Rock Central High and attended Arkansas Tech in Russellville. She retired from the Oklahoma Bar Association after 15 years of service. She was a special lady to her family and many friends in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. She had a zest for life and will long be remembers for her creativity, Bible studies and activities at The Wellington where she resided. She was preceded in death by her daughters Carla LeAnn and Amanda Blair, parents Eula L. Jefcoats Wade Cox, Joel R. Wade and brother Joel L. "Sonny" Wade. She is survived by her sister, Cecelia A. Wade Garrison of Little Rock and other cherished relatives and friends. Karen ashes will rest with her children in Dallas TX by cousins Mitch and Mike Sandridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 5601 NW 72nd Ste 124, Oklahoma City Okla. 73132 or the Little Rock Central Class of 1965 Scholarship Fund.
