Charlie Hardin Jr.

CHARLIE HARDIN JR., 70, departed this life Nov. 8, 2012. He was born in Lepanto, Ark. Feb. 10, 1942. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Hardin Sr.; mother, Elmer Ross; stepfather, Cleveland Ross; brother, John Hardin; sister, Cherry Hardin and Ken Hardin. He graduated from Carver High School, Marked Tree, Ark. He attended Philander Smith College and he also served in Vietnam in 1965. He is survived by his children, Robin White, Flint, Mich., Chaka Hardin and Opio Hardin of Little Rock; sister, Dorothy Weatherspoon of Pontiac, Mich.; special nieces, Kim Crockett, Marktree, Ark. and Patsy Hicks of Pontiac, Mich.; six other nephews and nieces and many cousins. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, 11 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland St. North Little Rock, Ark. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home 1518 S.
