Gregory "Greg" George McClain, 53, of Romance died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. He was born Aug. 1, 1959, in Newfoundland, Canada, to James and Evelyn O'Quinn McClain. Greg grew up all over the country and was involved in cub scouts and boy scouts and loved to play baseball as well as fishing and hunting. Greg served his country as a U.S. Marine and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Greg is survived by his daughters, Shannon Clark (Billy) of Rentz, Ga., Tina Huelett of Perry, Ga., and Amanda McClain of West Memphis; his parents, James and Evelyn McClain of Romance; his fiancé, Karen McKinney of Conway; one brother, James McClain Jr. (Melanie) of Monroe, Ala.; one sister, Susan Hall (David) of Oologah, Okla. and five grandchildren, Ally Clark, Joey Knight, Kylie Clark, Brady Clark and Connor Huelett as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Andy Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary service beginning at 7 p.m. at the church. Services are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
