Tommy L. Porter

Tommy L. Porter, 71, of Glen Rose, passed away Dec. 1, 2012. Tommy was born Nov. 27, 1941 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Fred J. and Myrtle Porter. Tommy was a retired captain with the Little Rock Fire Department. He was a devoted husband, father, and granddad, an avid wood worker and outdoorsman. Tommy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jackie Porter, son Jeff (Tammy) Porter, daughter Donna Porter and grandsons Brad and Kyle Porter, all of Glen Rose, granddaughter Tara (Michael) Dorminy and great granddaughter Hadley Dorminy, all of Rogers, Ark. Two sisters, Shirley Bias and Rita Waid, both of Hot Springs and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
