Mr. William Tyler, 68, of Cross Roads passed away, Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Tyler was born Sept. 12, 1944, in Cross Roads to Edgar and Ruth Lauterbach Tyler. He was the District Engineer of District 3 with the AHTD, where he had been employed for 30 years. He was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, an Ordained Minister, Pastor of White Stone Fellowship Church, a member of the Hope Lion Club and a member of the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Braden Tyler of Cross Roads; son, Matthew "Matt" and Hillery Tyler of Cross Roads; daughter, Julie and Roger Moren of Sardis, Ark.; brother, Frank Tyler of Cooper, Texas; sister, Jacqueline Ivey of The Colony, Texas; and five grandchildren. Family will receive friends, 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service, 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Unity Baptist Church 402 S. Hervey Hope. Bro. Glen Tropp and Bro. Clif Johnson will officiate the service. Burial to follow in Bright Star Cemetery at Cross Roads. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home.
