Maxine Brown Rose, age 82, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 surrounded by her husband, daughter and son. Maxine was born December 30, 1929 in Nashville, Arkansas to Thomas Lipton and Daisy Ophelia Scott Brown. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Maxine loved the Lord and lovingly taught her children and grandchildren about daily walking with God with her selfless examples. She worked as a secretary in the insurance industry during her early years as a young woman and mother. Taught Bible class and Vacation Bible Schools and worked in Girl Scouts and Parent Teacher Association throughout the years of raising her family. She also worked as a paraprofessional in the Pulaski County School District in her later years after her children were grown and married. She also loved the fact that she was able to keep each of her grandchildren and love and spoil them individually as well as the four of them together. She was a member of Geyer Springs Church of Christ and avid mall walker at Park Plaza Mall. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Roy Ray Rose; daughter Pamela Kay Rose Wilson and her husband, Mark; son Michael Ray Rose and his wife, Nicole; granddaughter Jennifer Nichole Wilson Clowers and her husband, Gary; granddaughters Madison, Anna Claire and grandson Landon. Family will have a greeting one hour before the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
