Dorcas Leah Tiller

Dorcas Leah Tiller, 59, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away December 4, 2012. She was born June 18, 1953 to her beloved parents Gilbert and Hazel Tiller. She is survived by cousins Judy Sprinkle, Sandy Norris and Susan Williamson in California, and Barbara Fisher in Nebraska. Also, three loving aunts in both Florida and Conway, Ark. Dorcas was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church and had developed warm and loving relationships within the arms of her friends there. In addition, Dorcas had a family of friends with whom she worked, some for many years. She began her career with L.E. Lay & Co., Mortgage Banking as an Escrow and Foreclosure Clerk. She then moved to and spent 18 years with Commercial Mortgage Company as Vice President and Financial Analyst. Finally, her last 14 years were with Arvest Central Mortgage Company as Cash Management Manager. Dorcas had a gift for working with numbers and was the 'go-to' person for solving those problems that no one else could solve. Her skills, talent and responsible nature made her a valuable employee and co-worker. She will be sorely missed. She had a quiet and gentle nature, loving to garden and tend to her flowers. She opened her heart to so many, enriching all of our lives. Her loyal, loving and unwavering care for her parents in their later years was unsurpassed and an inspiration to us all. Dorcas will be missed by all who were blessed to be her friend or relation. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Thursday, Dec. 6, from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. this Friday, Dec. 7, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
