Dorothy Marie Harr, 97, widow of George Washington Adam Frank Harr, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart of natural causes. Mrs. Harr was born September 2, 1915, in Casscoe to Isaac Newton Clemons and Dora Anderson Harvey Clemons. George and Dorothy began farming together in 1932 with one Fordson tractor, a team of mules, thrashing machine and binder. Mrs. Harr was involved in every aspect of the farming business from record keeping to equipment operation. She was a seasoned seamstress and also enjoyed gardening, bread baking and floral design. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women and Fairmount Home Demonstration. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Richard Keith Harr and Rodney Allen Harr; brothers, Hubert "Clem" Clemons and Newton Burnell Clemons; and sisters, Helen Lucille Jones and Lydia Ermadell Graves. Survivors are one son, George Marion Harr (Sybil) of Fairmount; grandson, George Raymond Harr (Mary) of Fairmount; granddaughter, Juanebe Diet Allison (Russell) of Russellville; step-grandson, Stanley Grinder (Sandra) of Little Rock; great-grandchildren; Tyler and Kelsi Harr, Brittany, Daniel and Autumn Allison, Melisa and Katelyn Harr and Chris and Courtney Grinder; great-great-grandchildren, Ava Harr, Lacey Cline and Tristan, Cadan and Alexis Grinder; nieces, Adrian Ham (Russ), Brenda Parker, Debbie Clemons, Bobbie Jackson (Waverly), Virginia Butler and Garnetta Clemons; and nephews, Thomas Graves and Hubert "Buddy" Jones. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Tim Reeves, are 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
