Margaret Mae Hopkins Little

Margaret Mae Hopkins Little, 83, of Alexander, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. She was born May 27, 1929 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late William Francis Hopkins and Lenora Louise Schaal Hopkins. She was a housewife and mother to her five children. She was a member of Hurricane Lake Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge 4 in Caseyville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George R. Little; son, William (Bill) Little; sisters, Laura Mazeka; Elizabeth (Letty) Dunning; Rose Mary Jones; Hilda Cheseldine, and brothers, George Hopkins and Stephen Hopkins. She is survived by sons, Kenneth Lee Little (Linda McDaniel) of Alexander; Robert Kevin Little (Kelly Carey) of Caseyville, Illinois; daughters, Lois Downard (Phil) of Tull, Arkansas; Peggy Mae Leehy (Lonnie) of Alexander, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Jesse Ray (Tammy) Downard; Chad Robert (Sarah) Downard; Amanda Lee (Stephen) Lake; Shawn Minar, Tiffany Moore, Jarred T. Little; Pvt. Jeremy T. Little; Dwayne (Chrissie) Cordray, Edward J. (Corey) Morton; Gary (Josie) Downard; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Baldwin of Smithton, Illinois; sister-in-law, Mildred Hopkins of Caseyville, Illinois and also nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Brother Clarence Shell officiating. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the funeral home.
