Ruth Hill

Ruth Opal Hill of Frisco, Texas was born November 18, 1917 in Paron, Arkansas to Will and Dora Phillips Taylor. She departed this life Sunday, December 2, 2012. She married her beloved husband L.V. Hill on June 12, 1937. She was member of the White Hall United Pentecostal Church in White Hall, Arkansas. She was a godly Christian lady and loved by all. She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, Rev. Arvest Dale Hill and wife Beulah of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Pine Bluff, Larry Dwayne Hill and wife Jill of Houston, Texas, Randy Darrell Hill and wife Linda of O'Fallon, Missouri and Phyllis Dianne Smelser and husband Charles of Frisco, Texas; two sisters, Lona Chadwick and Dorothy Jones of Benton, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Milas and Eugene Taylor and three sisters, Madgie Mashburn, Anna Brooks, and Emma Cannady. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m., at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Arkansas.
