Tommie Ray Davis, 92, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Bella Vista. He was a retired carpenter, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving aboard a 5 star ship, The USS White Plains and a Quaker. He was born August 5, 1920 in Mulberry, Ark. to the late William A. and Effie Inez (Shook) Davis and preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Durden Davis and a daughter, Jackie Effie Davis. Survivors include three daughters, Tami Thurman of Rogers, Ark., Linda Husby of Washington and Shirley Madsen of California; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in New Cemetery with military honors. The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark.
