David Derrell Allison

David Derrell Allison, 79, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away December 5, 2012. He was born in England, Arkansas to Joe Lafayette Allison and Rosie Etta Thompson Allison and was a member of the Al Chymia Shrine and the Royal Order of Jesters. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary McDonald Allison; children, Jim Allison (Dinah) of Memphis, Joe Allison (Laura) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Jeff Allison (Beth) of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lindsey Allison, Carrie Allison, Ryan Allison (Leigh), Brent Allison, Tara Allison and Jessica Grashot (Tony); three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Allison of Sugarland, Texas. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held today, Saturday, December 8 at 1 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood, Arkansas.
