LaMoyne H. Stroud

LaMOYNE H. STROUD, age 88, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. She was born Jan. 3, 1924 in Yell County, Ark. to the late Fred and Lora Hunt. She was a bookkeeper for Jacksonville High School for over 30 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville since 1960. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Stroud, a son Jerry C. Stroud, and a grandson, Michael Stroud, Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael H. Stroud and a daughter, Lori Conner and her husband Mike; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Danville.
