Rebecca Lee Eggers

Rebecca (Beckie) Lee Eggers, age 64, of Bentonville, passed away on Dec. 6, 2012 in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 10, 1948 in Bentonville to the late George W. and Dorothy Martin Turner. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville where she also was very active in the AWANA program. She volunteered at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School as library assistant. She was a very devoted Nana. Survivors include one son, James Kevin Birchfield and his wife Tonia of Bentonville; one daughter, Gina Bowen and her husband Ron of Bentonville; one brother, Greg Turner of Rogers; three sisters, Cheryle Witcher of Bella Vista, Bobbi Turner Witcher of Centerton, Lana Landers of Bella Vista; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville. A visitation will follow the service until 3 p.m. at the church.
