Sarah Jane (Leeper) Mancieri, age 73, of Conway, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2012. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late George Leeper and Ritta Lucille (Jeffery) Leeper Schaer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Nicholas Mancieri; and two sisters, Judy Beegle and Betty Lou Walter. Sarah is survived by two daughters, Robin Mancieri Nicpan (David) of Vilonia and Lisa Mancieri Kelley (Rick) of Vilonia; a beloved granddaughter, Danielle Lynn Nicpan of Conway. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother Georgeanna King of Judsonia, Ruthie (Kenny) Kennedy of Byesville, Ohio, Eithel Patterson of Byesville, Ohio and Michael Beghin of Massillion, Ohio. Sarah was a veteran of the Women's Army Corps of the United States Army and an avid Bible reader. She devoted her life to the Lord, her children and her only grandchild. She had a love for children and cared for many. She loved people and they loved her back. She had a special something that attracted people to her. She had a smile that could light up any room and she loved to laugh and make others laugh with her. She will forever be missed by her family and friends. A special thanks to all the nursing aides and nurses at Salem Place Nursing and Rehab for the care and comfort they provided to her for the last two and a half years. They were her caregivers but also her friends. A special thanks also to Odyssey Hospice for their care in her final days of life. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012, 5-7 p.m., at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (501) 327-7727. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with LtCol Stephen D. Kelley (ret) officiating.
